Default RoadGlide Windshield

I was looking for information on an HD windshield. I'm looking at getting the tall windshield with the painted flames. HD part #57777-04. I was curious if anyone out there has one on their Glide, and how they like it. Chicago HD has a great price on one so I'm trying to get any info I can before I buy. Thanks.

I have the TALL HD shield, but is a plain one. I like it for block more wind and no head boggle at all at high speeds. I am 6'1" and it doesn't bother my line of sight while riding as I still look just OVER the shield but yet I can duck down a little and be behind it....In case of birds or anything else coming at me.

How tall are you? The reason I ask is that if you are much shorter, you will be looking through the shield and some don't like that.

The stock windshield on my 08 road Glide was too short, the wind hit me square in the eyes and would shake my glasses to the point i got a headache...I now have the tall HD windshield and the dirty air goes ovver my head...I am only 5'10 so i figure most others will have the same problem

I'm 6'4" and use a CLEARVIEW SMALL (1" shorter & 2" wider then the OEM) with recurve... Ft Lowered 1" and rear 2" Use a Corbin seat with backrest that puts me back and down and don't have a a issue with wind till over 80MPH
