I tipped mine over a few weeks ago when I got in some freshly poured gravel in a driveway. You don't feel very good when it happens, but I'm glad you're ok and the bike isn't damaged. After laying mine over, I found out just how nice having an engine guard and saddlebag guard is.
Thanks
No real injury, scrapped my knee and bruised a few ribs. I must have taken the mirror to the chest. This happened yesterday morning and my chest is still killing me. The bike was untouched, went down fairly soft.
Dude... that sucks!
Foot slip on some gravel or?
Nothing worse than seeing your ride on its side in the middle of the road.
I can't believe you actually posted that video.
It's one thing to drop your bike... it's quite another to post a video of you dropping your bike!
Your a brave man with a pretty good sense of humor and attitude.
Glad that the bike had a mostly soft landing.
Be safe out there.
I too am glad you are basically OK! Good for you wearing protective gear. I was surprised on how much you rolled. Now that you got that out of the way, hope the rest of your trip goes well.
I'm gonna show this to my wife...she'll get a kick out of it. ;-)
She's rolling laughing right now. (of course that because you didn't get hurt, we're glad for that.) I miss the times dirt bike riding when someone yard sales and we all get to laugh back at camp.
Good I was going for the laugh.

Glad it was mostly hurt ego.
I was trying to get over to the side to let the guy pass and just cranked my bars to quick.

I thought that's what happened to you, when you said there was a truck behind you. I hope it didn't do too much damage.
The truck didn't hit me. That was all me dropping it.

I was going to move over when I looked back and saw the guy.

The last roll was for effect, I was most of the way over so I figured I would just keep going.
I'm riding 30 yrs, I just did that last weekend at an intersection by hitting the front brake in a small patch of sand. no damage, just the ego. picked up my roadking by myself I was so pissed lol
I'm confused by all of the "it happens to the best of us" comments. OP simply didn't give it enough throttle, and I can assure you, this kind of thing DOES NOT happen to the best of us. If this has happened to that many forum members, you guys ALL need to take a basic riders course. smh...
