When you go to a local Indy shop....you can walk out with parts, or have them order and call you when they arrive, and talk to a face when you're there, speak to a real person face to face.
Fair is fair and I was wrong, my bad. DK evidently has not charged my credit card. I was told when placing the order they would but a review of the last 6 weeks of statements shows no debit to DK.
All I am out is 6 weeks of wasted time and more aggravation then I needed. I appreciate everyone's input and perhaps my experience is a fluke but given the "we don't give rat's ***" attitude and the outright lies, still don't see myself ever doing business with DK.
For the record I do like to support the independent shops when they have what I need at a reasonable price but sadly not the case here.
How do you know for sure that it's their fault maybe the manufacturer of the floorboards is delaying the shipments to DK if the manufacturer tells DK we will have your order in 3 weeks and DK tells you that then delays the shipment by another 3-4 weeks then DK is not at fault and can only go by the suppliers word.
Life is short relax and just ride.
I have bought 100's of items from DK over the years and usually I get the items faster than they say.
