I have double detachable mounts on the wife's bike and the plastic bushings are shot; there was a guy machining a solid aluminum replacement but I can't find him. Most references are about 8 years old and it seems he's no longer "in business" Anyone know where I can get a better docking mount??? Thanks...
I'm using a Rokform mount for my iPhone and it's the best mount of any kind I've ever used. They're running a 20% Christmas in July deal right now so you can save a little money...they still ain't cheap but it's a great mount!
I took your advice and ordered a full set of 8 aluminum bushings(I have front and rear docking stations).
I installed them today.
They are perfect.
My HD brand backrest fits nice and tight now with no wobble.
My detachable tourpack is now rock solid! (it shook a bit front to back with the poorly fitting plastic bushings)
I'm very pleased.
Thank you for the suggestion and, thank you to Bobby.
