Looking to buy this weekend literally had someone tell me at a dealer that they're a small dealer and id have to come in for a quote. GTFO of here.
May as well just say I don't need a sale at all.....
Last year I was looking for a trade up and had the same thing from a few dealers. Told them no way, both in email and on the phone. I ended up not buying. I'm not going to waste my time in a dealer just so they can play their games.
I will be emailing dealers again this weekend and see if now they want a sale

I honestly hate that ****. I work until 5 and don't have time for their bullshit of whether or not I can be pressured into a sale.

Exactly, I sent all the dealers in my area the same email. I asked for the lowest OTD price and the lowest bid would win my business. 2 didn't even bother to respond.
I'm gonna try again this weekend and see if anyone wants my business.
Fwiw I'm looking at a blue rgu now. Owner demo with 5k on it. Still "new" I guess. Vance and Hines mufflers and Sirius xm(whatever this mean thought they all had this?)
24k otd. I owe 10.8 on my heritage. If it gets to 23k I'm jumping on it.

That seems high...then again I haven't looked at ultras.

It's nearing the prices I've been seeing for specials. 22,500 otd is the quote I've gotten on specials with a color option. Though I haven't pushed on prices for them.
If you don't want to wait until the 17's come out, the last few days of the month are the VERY best time to buy. Most dealers are clamoring to hit their monthly quota, and most are not. So they are desperate to move inventory. Find the bike you like, find out what invoice on it is, call the dealer, offer him invoice and tell them you won't pay freight or prep fees. They will cry. Offer to toss some of the freight and prep back in, and I bet you'll get your bike. I would not pay more than $500 over invoice for a 16 at this time of year.

What dealership are around you? My SIL lives over there and I dont remember any close. I am over there maybe twice a year thought too...
