Ok, I have been toying with this idea for awhile now to give my bike more of a personal touch. Had these pinstripped flames put on last week by a local guy. It was amazing watching him just paint these on free hand. What a lost art. The Orange is alot richer in person. (must not have my camera setting set right) I know some will love them and some will hate them but let me know what you think. I LOVE IT!! Bryan
Man, that looks great. Amazing that someone can do that freehand..
Just for fun, I decided to order a set of removable decals last week..a set of gold flames from cyclegraphics. I tried em on the side but they just didn't look right so I cropped them and tried em around the tank.
I'd like to get some gold tribal/celtic stripes on my bike one day. I wish your guy was in NC,
Looks nice. How much does something like that cost?
Dan
First of all Thanks to all!! I paid $100 for the entire bike to be flamed. I thought it was a great deal. I talked to numberous other strippers and they were everywhere from $75.00 (3hrs. away) to $300. Mydad found this guy and he did my bike and my dad's streetrod with a $40 trip charge for $300 total. It was a no brainer for me. If you decide to do something like this just check around especially if you know any streetrodders they have inside track on guys like this. Bryan
