I've often thought that maybe I should trade these two suckers in and get something newer... something with fuel injection... something with a bigger motor... something with six gears... something that doesn't vibrate as much.
Nah, I'd still have to add money and I'd lose the feeling I get when I go into my shed and think to myself, "Hmmm, which one today?"

All my previous bikes (before my first HD) had carbs - multiple carbs! I really like having fuel injection compared to all the hassles with multiple carbs. One carb - maybe not so bad but four of them? I'd spend more time tinkering around with it than riding.
I like the sound a carb gives a engine but like the benefits of fuel injection. Sometimes I wouldn't mind having a second bike for around town. But more than 2 bike for one person just doesn't make any sense at all.
Being retired has many benefits, owning two bikes us not one of them I'm afraid. Happy for those who can!
When I retire, the bike will be the first to go. That's why I didn't retire last year because I got it when my last one was wrecked. So I've got 2 more years to ride...and pay for it.
