NEW FOR 2017!! Just announced!! Pure BS!! What Harley has done is screw over the faithful existing owners that they lured in just two years ago with "Rushmore". We have just taken a major hit to the value of our bikes. We already pay a premium to ride a Harley. HD doesn't give a crap about us loyal customers and therefore I am done with HD. Shame on HD for screwing over the faithful. I AM DONE!!
If you bought 7 Harley Davidson in 6 years I don't see why you should have a problem buying one more.

that is the way it has been forever. the biggest cost of owning a motorcycle or automobile is the depreciation after purchasing new.

Kind of curious about something. You said that you got screwed, who forced you to buy the bike in the first place? It was your choice to buy or walk away, nobody was forcing you to buy it.

I wonder if the OP will take it back or sell it, since HD said he was done with HD?

It's all in how you look at it. I bought my FatBoy in '92 and it was top of the line.

I couldn't even count all the improvements Harley's made since then. My '14 is light years better than my FatBoy, but my FatBoy is still my favorite bike.

My newest Harley is 22 years old & I am perfectly happy with it. I have no intention of trading it in for the flavor of the month. It's a keeper.....

You bought a great bike, just enjoy it and don't worry about resale. I have a 2012 CVO Ultra, and I'm very happy with it. I'm not interested in buying the new motor, and taking a beating on my trade in when the bike is a lot of fun with the mods I made.

By the way, aside from the motor/trans that bike has the same frame, and the suspension upgrade is not as good as an aftermarket upgrade you can do to your bike. A lot of the Rushmore updates, which my bike does not have, have been carried over to the 2017, so aside from the engine/trans your bike is on par with the newer model.
