I have purchased 7 Harley Davidson motorcycles since 2010. Most recently, I bought the 2015 CVO limited. "It's the best of the best" they said. It's the culmination of much research and refinement with the help of riders" they said. "Groundbreaking changes from the Project Rushmore" they said. In order to buy the bike, I had to pay $2000 over sticker price. I was very excited and it is indeed a great bike. Now I learn they had a new 114 engine in the back room they failed to tell us about! NEW FOR 2017!! Just announced!! Pure BS!! What Harley has done is screw over the faithful existing owners that they lured in just two years ago with "Rushmore". We have just taken a major hit to the value of our bikes. We already pay a premium to ride a Harley. HD doesn't give a crap about us loyal customers and therefore I am done with HD. Shame on HD for screwing over the faithful. I AM DONE!!
That's dumb and bought of life with every product, Harley continues to push ahead like an apple product, would you be upset if you bought the greatest phone last year and then how dare apple make a better phone this year. I had a 2013 glide, then Rushmore came out, was I pissed I bought my 2013 a little but I loved it, that's life. Of course with the new engine I made the jump. 7 bikes in 5 years, sounds like you are a little like me and will never be happy. Just be content, your CVO is still the same great CVO it was last week.
By the way 2k over sticker price is nuts, I never even pay sticker price ,you gotta work on negation better.

Well, you didn't have to pay $2k over sticker - you chose to. Also, the Rushmores came out in '14. About 3 months after I bought my '13. It's called progress, it happens. With ALL manufacturers, cars, bikes, trucks, microwave freakin' ovens.
No manufacturer old survive a year or two of slow sales because everyone is waiting for the newest models. No one will announce new gee-whiz products any sooner than they have to. It's just the way it is.

I do not know your personal financial situation, but buying new motorcycles or automobiles every 1 or 2 years does not help in growing your savings account.
