I demoed a HD Road Zepplin a couple of years ago. Kept it overnight. Road home, about a 100 miles. I did not move a muscle. Rode back the next day and did not move a muscle all the way. Put my stock seat back on. My butt was killing me after 40 miles. I still need to stop after about 150 miles.
I'm glad I'm not the only one.I stop every so often myself.I went couple hours on a Harley hammock today I was demoing.Maybe that's just how it is for me.
Hm. I have the Mustang wide on my Street Bob and it's very comfortable to me. I also use an Alaska Leather sheepskin pad, which makes a world of difference.
I understand where some seats have the ability to be more comfy than others but has anybody ever heard of conditioning. When I get on my bike for the first time after a few months off from riding because of winter, my butt tends to hurt a little too but the more that I ride, the less it hurts until I get to the point where I can ride all day and don't have any issues at all and I've got a hard Corbin seat on my Springer.
No problem. Most of the people that I've met over the years, men and women, have learned that the more they ride, the less that they notice any pain until they get to the point where the pain will go away and they don't feel it anymore. It usually doesn't take that long depending on how much a person rides or likes to ride.

I put a Mustang wide touring seat on my '04 FL. It was a bit uncomfortable for the first about 1000 miles. After that it seemed to get broken in.
I wouldn't want anything else now. I'll go a few hours before I feel like stopping for a break. I've probably put 15+ 500 mile days on it and it works well.
