Saw a video on the same subject. The guy presenting said in a nutshell it's all about your skin creating heat through your underwear then to the seat and that heat just stays and starts working against you. He did try the Monkey Butt powder it worked a little bit but also put a different covering on the seat to allow air circulation and it worked even better. Just passing this along.

I've said it before....and I'll say again. The shape of the seat is MUCH more important than how soft it is. My Corbin is hard as a rock, but I can ride all day. Not so much on the stock Harley seat. Btw, I'm pretty sure Corbin makes models that aren't too tall. JMO

A cheaper and quicker fix is the circulator pad from Harley. I put one on my RGU and it all but eliminated the monkey butt / swamp a** even on the hottest days here in Vegas. I still plan on getting a newer seat though.

Gold Bond Medicated Powder goes a long way to keeping you dry. I've got enough natural padding to where the shape of a seat is far more important than the softness; your mileage may vary on that.
