I was out with the family, stopped by Battlefield Harley and was greeted by the Laguna orange SGS, what a beautiful machine. I couldn't help but get a quote - 27 OTD, I'm hoping they'll knock freight and prep off - time will tell.
I was hesitant like most regarding the Mate but it sure seems like a winner in my book. Now I just need to decide if I should buy it now or wait till winter/early spring
That Laguna Orange is a real eye catcher in person. Local dealer has one and I have to keep telling myself "don't ask for a quote!!"...good luck, but my guess is you're hooked.

Hooked for sure, but not to the point that I'm willing to hand over whatever they ask. After a good nights sleep on it I've decided to wait until winter. This will hopefully give the moco some time to fix the few slight issues. Also, it should hopefully give the hype some time to die down and maybe add some wiggle room in the price
Jeebuz! They really jacked the prices on those in the past two years. I got my SGS for $22k out the door. Might have to go back to cheap bikes I can afford like BMW.
I just gawked and jacked the price indeed, I'm hoping to at least get freight and prep knocked off when I commit to buy, that'll save damn near a grand

I too was Jonesin' for a '17 Laguna Orange SGS but after learning I could buy a brand new '16 for about $6k less my enthusiasm cooled considerably. Granted, the '16 doesn't have custom paint but still....
Think I'll wait for the new model fever to subside some and the oiling issues to be sorted before I take the plunge.
I saw the Laguna Orange this past week at the dealership. If I had the money and was looking for a bike, it would be hard to walk away from it. You're smart to want to save some $$$. I'm not sure I'd have been that strong.
