If you're too freakin' lazy and/or cheap to learn about and attend to the needs of your $20,000 bike, do yourself (and the bike) a favor: sell it to somebody who will and buy a more maintenance-free Goldwing.
Some of you clowns have the biggest Internet attitudes I've ever seen. Congrats tough guy, you won the Internet for a day.
Just ride it as it without a tuner, power wash it every chance you get and trade it in at the dealer for a new bike in a year or two.
You fall in the above category as well. Does it make you feel good to run your mouths with impunity because you lack the ***** to do it at home or work so this is how you feel like a man?
OP. Guys ribbing ya have a point. A) pressure washing is bad for lots of reasons... & B) learn all you can about your bike before making changes . With that said, huge Kudos for asking the questions.
Yes. You definetly need a tuner. The EJK (dobeck) is a good unit. I've used it before on a triumph rocket 3. It ties into the injector wiring and tricks your ecm to add fuel, and If its set it up and adjusted correctly will work. You need to be able to unplug your injectors so it can be bit of a pain to install, and will leave some performance on the table compared to other tuners. Power vision works amazingly well, but I'd recommend (as others have) using a FP3 from V&H for simplicity sake. Definetly would not recommend the HD stage 1 flash.

I was being 100% serious.
Use & abuse the new bike like there is no tomorrow and let someone else deal with the fallout. Might as well get some enjoyment out of the big hit that buying new has to offer.

WTF?? I'm being accused of being a "clown" and a "tough guy" because I refuse to coddle the OP and tell him to learn something about his bike or he should sell it??? So, you're what, his Internet hero who saves him from non-sugar coated posts? Last time I checked, learning about and taking care of something you just spent a ton of money on was good common sense!
Then again, yeah you're right...
Hey, OP, it's your bike and your money. Go ahead and do what you want with it. Buy a tuner or don't, whatever. It won't make any difference.
...better? BTW, thanks for stepping up for the OP and putting me in my place. I'm sure he feels much better, since I guess he can't stick up for himself and needs somebody like you to protect him from Internet bullies, such as myself...
FYI, I hand washed it and used the no spot mineral water to rinse with no pressure at all, yes I put the rain sock over the breather. I was out of town when I washed it not at home so I did it at a car wash by the hotel. Thanks for your input though.

And, I'm being serious. I really wanna know.
Low end issues that's all and I really don't think it out performs it MUCH when it was stock.
So yes, I have done my research and YES there are guys riding both ways with and without tuners after doing mufflers and breathers. I NEVER said it was smart I was only asking a question. Thank y'all for some of your replys and to the trolls, LOL. Keep trolling.

LOL, I was typing while you were too I guess. I didn't respond right back because I don't sit at my computer in my mothers basement. Sorry, but I have a job as well. Your fine though, keep on because your opinion doesn't make a **** to me. You pay for yours and I'll pay for mine.
