I recently bought a new set of tires for my cvo. American elites if anyone is interested... but I also bought 3 bottles of ride on to go with them (enough for the heavy duty application as per ride on instructions). long story short, didn't use it. still have them sealed, if anyone wants them, $35 shipped. j&p is $15 each, plus shipping.
Does "Ride On" work on tube as well as tubeless tires?
Yes it works with tubes as well but it says it will seal a 1/8" hole in a tube/tire as opposed to 1/4" on tubeless. It really does smooth out the ride, well worth the money and the sealant is just a bonus the way I see it.
Had it in one bike already and recently developed a vibration on my Road King and figured out I had lost a rear wheel weight. Added it to both tires and it is smooth as butter now. Didn't even have to jack up bike, added it while sitting in my driveway.
So no issue using the ride on in the stock Heritage Tires?
It will work fine balancing or smoothing out the ride but as for sealing a puncture in a tube I would want to get it fixed at first chance if it were me.
