Confrontations
I had a guy pull out in front of me yesterday. I saw him way before he saw me, so there was no trouble. As things turned out, he actually pulled over at the next stoplight and apologized. I gave him a wave and that was that.
I think there are drivers who just think if they're stuck, you should be stuck too, even if you're able because of being on a smaller, more agile vehicle to get out and on your way.
years back I was at a stop light that also had some construction happening in one lane. I was able to get by, but a driver saw me move and just cut over a couple feet to block off my route. wouldn't have hurt or affected him at all, just didn't want to see me get by. that was when I rode a street trail bike and could have just hopped up the curb and went around him (truthfully I don't know why I didn't. I used to enjoy aggravating people like that back then).
I think I got most of my confrontational ya-yas out when I had that bike, a big 600cc trail bike on the street is a pretty fun thing.
another time in that same period I was on a 3-4 lane city street at a stoplight, when a car pulled into the farthest right lane (where cars normally park) to take off on me when the light changed. I knew what he was going to do, but since he was in a Datsun z car I figured he wouldn't slow me down, so I let him do it. but it was like he wanted to lead the parade. he slowed down as soon as he was in front, so I did the same thing at the next light and got back in front. he tried to get back in front again, but I just didn't let him.
when we get to the next light he rolls down my window and starts yelling what's my problem. I shrugged and told him I didn't have one, and when the light changed I kept him behind me again. he eventually gave up and just stayed behind me.
I'm not as aggressive about stuff like that now, so if someone goes though that kind of effort I just let them in front, even if they slow down again (truthfully, that seems to be a lot of Harley riders now). I still don't get it though, if you want to drag your butt, why make me be stuck behind you while you do it?
edit: oh, and noise. the noisiest bike I've had I didn't like myself, and eventually got stock pipes for it. but before I got them I just kinda asked a couple of the neighbors if they were bothered by the pipes. they happened to be outside when I was doing some test rides (a bike I got that needed some repair), so I just asked while I saw them. they said it was fine, but I figured it was good to ask anyway.

Had a neighbor at a house I rented a number of years ago. Nice guy, but he would fire up his straight piped Evo every morning at 5AM to be to work by 6. Naturally he had to let it warm up. I never said anything and he ended up moving out shortly anyway.
On one occasion, I was splitting lanes, (very sensibly), and came upon a woman who just didn't want me getting past her - guess she was one of those "life isn't fair" people who felt that if she had to sit in dead stopped traffic so did I. She kept swerving in to the next lane every time she saw that I was trying to roll past. I finally gave up and worked my way around her by moving over two lanes. It wasn't really a confrontation because I'm not going to let other people's issues affect me and set me off - life's too short.
I've been blown out of my lane by a helicopter that I didn't see coming up on me, but I don't know if the pilot realized it would do that to me; he didn't get close again.
