Yet another person in the very long history of too much bike, not enough skill.

I would tell you to park it and learn on a more appropriate machine, but as mentioned in many threads just like this - no one listens.

I broke my leg once. It hurt so much, I didn't even feel that pride part.

Been riding dirt and street for 30 yrs. Dumped my bike for the first time last week. Was changing the oil and the filter was being a pain in the ***. I got mad and stood up and slammed my head into the handlebars. Bike feel right over. That cost me about $500! It happens.

I've never ever dropped a bike much less had to lay one down.
In my 60's, first scoot around the age of 10 and then onto old trumpets and the woods. You can rest assured I've had my fair share of awakenings. My advice, stfu, don't tell anyone > lmfao

I pull out to the driveway and start to head outo, when I do I lost controlled and about 30 feet from the exit I ended up dumping the bike. If it wasn't for the heavy breather air filter on there it would of messed me and the bike up even more than we both are now. I feel like a complete dumb *** for not being able to keep control of the bike. My pride is hurt more than anything. Had to get this off my chest. Time to fix everything and dust my self of and get back on.

Has anyone else in the world done this?
Welcome to the site.
And yes, many have.

I see by the forum name you chose, you are beating yourself up over this. Don't let that happen. The important thing is that you weren't hurt. Re read that last sentence again.

Now that you already have your night train, you might as well repair it and try again. It would have been a better idea to learn on a training type bike, but you've already let your ego make a different choice for you. Don't let this happen again either!
I hope you took your training as it wasn't mentioned. If not, get it done. Do you have any moto experience at all? Dirtbike?
Revisit your thread (and others) so we can start a dialog.

Repair your bike
Repair you

Hey OP, I think your username may be a little harsh. You have a lot of good advice here.

It doesn't sound like your fall was as epic as this guy's...

I like this guy, at least he did it with some style.

I'm with Matte. Wrong bike, take a class, all of that will be repeated, throughout the thread.

Screw your pride. That went out the window with the post. Figure out exactly what you did wrong. Were you looking down at the road, instead of where you wanted the bike to go? Did you use your front brake in the middle of a slow turn? Was the there loose sand on the road?

The biggest concern I would have at this point is figuring out the problem, so the lesson isn't lost. You've already paid for it; might as well learn from it.
