So today I bought my very first Harley Davidson 01 night train. I was very excited and nervous being this was my very first Street bike. I get to the dealership and everything goes smoothly. I take the bike around the shop a few times to get the feeling of it and it feels great. So now its time to leave. I pull out to the driveway and start to head outo, when I do I lost controlled and about 30 feet from the exit I ended up dumping the bike. If it wasn't for the heavy breather air filter on there it would of messed me and the bike up even more than we both are now. I feel like a complete dumb *** for not being able to keep control of the bike. My pride is hurt more than anything. Had to get this off my chest. Time to fix everything and dust my self of and get back on.
Has anyone else in the world done this?

Welcome aboard! It usually happens when a lot of people are watching you. Just tell everybody that you wanted to see how hard it would be to pick up after it had fallen over! Glad you're okay.
Welcome. Did take the MSF course? If you didn't you should.
A frequent argument on here is whether to start on a Harley or a smaller metric. I think you just found out you made the wrong choice. If you don't take the MSF course that will be your 2nd mistake.
With motorcycles, 3 strikes usually guarantees an out, so tread carefully.
You say it's your first Harley and some are assuming it's your first bike. Is that true? Most HD dealerships have a learn to ride program. If you're a novice rider you might want to look into that. Welcome BTW.
