Default Price Check Please...

Need a price check on a '97 HD Heritage I'm checking out.

-1997 Heritage Softail

-Pewter/Black Paint Scheme (paint in great condition, never laid down.) Always garage kept.

-56k miles (@48k had new pistons, rings, wrist pins, cylinders machined all at 30 over and new valves, guides and seals)

- Has cobra exhaust, saddle bags, removable windshield, and hardsided bags

How much would you say a fair price for this bike would be, with this mileage & condition? Any info/input is appreciated!

$4,500 - $5,500. Add on's and extra's really don't add much value to it. Lots of nice bikes for sale, take your time and get a good deal

That sounds like a $5k-ish bike, more or less.

The one thing I'd want some more info on is who did the engine work.

I'd be more concerned with why an Evo with such low mileage needs to be bored .030 over. Evo's commonly go many more miles before needing that kind of work.

5k tops. Selling so soon after motor work is a red flag. Its an evo. It may need a little here and there so budget that in. Whats the date code on the tires(don't care how new they look)? Evos by me no matter the work already put in are 4 to 4.5k.
