Default Tiny device to track your motorcycle?

Tiny device you attach to your bike and track with your smart phone. If the item is stolen and subsequently comes within 100 feet of another trackR carried by someone else, you get notified of the gps coordinates where your item was last seen.

Watch the video on their website to learn how it works.

Oh, here we go again.

If your bike gets stolen, it is highly unlikely to ever come within 100 feet of another trackR

There are several similar products such as " tile " at a similar price point.
On the surface they seem OK but they have significant limitations for theft recovery.
They all seem to have a limiter...other folks need to have the app, then they also need to be near the vehicle and the battery life is about a year.
So if the bike is stolen and the folks near it do not have the app ON then the product is useless.
If bike is stolen and bike is inside a moving truck as it passes someone with the app then the GPS coordinates are again useless because location will be momentary.
While it might help to own one, it does have some limitations.
They seem better suited to locate your keys within your home and less for theft recovery.

Spot tracker:
Sends an email when your vehicle moves. Can give location every minute.

If you're really interested in a GPS product for your bike, send me a DM.

Passtime recently just created a motorsports device. GPS location from your phone (via app), low power draw (less than 3mAh), geofencing, battery monitoring, etc.

And it's IP64 compliant.

I have one on my bike right now, it's amazing.

Well, it might end up in a chop shop next to other stolen bikes with trackr

Anyway, if your bike gets stolen, you probably dont even want it back. Ignition busted, probably already all in little pieces... Or in a ditch after a joy ride.

What Derf said. I've seen too many theft recovered vehicles to want mine back. If my bike ever does get stolen, hopefully I'd never see it again.

I am, too. Welcome to the club

Yeah, I looked into the Tile when it came out. The odds of getting in proximity to another Tile seemed slim
