Default 130 hp

I would like to rebuild my 96 twin cam to get around 130 HP I have been looking at 106 pistons but I'm not sure what to do with the heads any suggestions

Great first post. I'm glad I'm in on this one early.

Regarding your request, did you try an internet search for "130hp Harleys"?

Almost anything can be done, if you have enough $$. Good luck, and welcome.

The 96 is about 100 HP stock. So, a few "Screamin' Eagle" decals and an air cleaner ought to get you close.

....... save yourself a whole bunch of time & effort & money & brain damage and swap in a 120R instead.

You could duct-tape them to the ceiling, because that's where they'll wind up if you try to get 130 hp from a 96" with stock cases.

I've got a friend running an S&S 124 on an '02 FXDWG. Puts out 137 hp at the rear wheel.

100 hp? Not hardly. I'd say you're optimistic by 20-25% or so, depending on how you're measuring the output.

Agreed..my 16' 103 just dyno'd at 76 hp...so
