Warranty terms were established before you bought the scooter.

You've got an 8 year old machine.

Yeah, coming on here to complain about something that occurred 9 months ago isn't Kosher. It's your problem and your's alone so as I see it you have two choices, either fix the bike on your dime or sell it for parts.

That's why I always get an extended warranty, no matter how much of a waste of money some people think it is. The engine on my 09 lost a bearing and my cost was $400 instead of a little over $5,000. My bike had 74,000 miles at the time instead of 17,000 miles, now has 103,000 miles, but my point is that warranties can be very well worth it.

**** happens - most of the time its usually the day after the warranty expires - you're averaging it seems about 2,000 miles a year, bike might be pissed off at you for not riding it more???
