But he will sell the bike for less when he does sell it. Bank the DV check............................................. .......................................

Well, since the general consensus is that you get Zippo for upgrades. 15K, tops. And thats being generous with maybe 1,000 bucks for all the upgrades. NADA says top dollar is 14.2

If the insurance company thinks that bike is worth 30K it's too bad for the owner that they didn't total it. At brand new prices with full credit for all options it was only $36K. Again, giving full credit for all options (which never happens) they're saying $6K in depreciation over 4 years. Don't we all wish that was the case. This bike, without the accident, is maybe a $17K bike. With the accident, ?????????.

I am not trying to get a professional DV experts opinion of what it would sell for, I want a bikers opinion of its post repair value.

Your extras are worth MAYBE $0.20 on the dollar.

There are a plethora (more like a glut) of used garage queens out there. Just check Craigslist. Your bike holds little value to someone like myself that can get a used bike with under 5,000 miles on it that hasn't been in an accident for a song. A 2013 Electra Glide Limited is not rare. With the new M8 bike, it's worth somewhat less now.

Harleys website says a new 2017 Electra Glide is starts at $29,599.99 so there is no way in hell a used 2013 is worth $30,634.50 unless it's being sold to the worlds biggest idiot the accessories have no value on a trade at a dealership and most bikers with any savvy will not pay extra for them so the only way you would get that is if you sold the bike to a total chump who is probably buying their first bike and was not smart enough to look around and get a garage queen that's never been damaged your bike has over $9000 in repairs I'd say you would be lucky to get $9000 - $10,000 for the bike

Buying a previously damaged bike can me OK. It's all relative to what kind of damage. Mine was considered totaled while parked in a garage. The PO's GF caught him with another woman and went after the bike with a sledge and broke the fairing, bags, dented the fenders and tank but no collision. My buddies bike was total when it came loose in a trailer and damaged the custom paint, the cost to repair the paint work exceeded the value of the bike. Again no collision.

I just traded my 2013 Limited for a 16 Trike at the end of the model year. It was before the new 17's were revealed and dealers were doing everything possible to get rid of 16's. If you are lucky a dealer might give you $13,000 for a trade with all those options. Selling it privately I would be shocked if you could get $15,000. Five months ago you could have done $2,000 or $3,000 better.

When that ride was brand new with 5 miles on the odometer, even if all the options were added immediately, it wasn't worth $30,000 the day after it was driven off the showroom floor.
