Default 2005 springer softail (FXSTS)

What's up fellas I'm new to the forum but I'm looking for suggestions on some new pipes for my bike. I like the "old school" look. Fire away

I like the pipes and the bad boy. 1 3/4" pipes is the only way to go on drag style pipes. Of course that's IMHO

I agree! I always like the 45 degree upsweep with fishtail mufflers. I had this set up on all my bikes back in the 60"s and 70's. Paughco makes the 45 degree upsweep pipes and fishtail mufflers for Softail; www.paughco.com. I had this Paughco set up on my 2004 springer.

I have a set of Vance and Hines Straight Shots (the old original versions, not the current ones, which used to be called Straight Shots HS) on Reaper. I think they have a nice old school look to them.

Cheers!

Clammy, I like those. They put me in mind of the drag pipes that were originally introduced by cycle shack in the 70's. Old School is still cool no matter what anybody says lol. Good looking bike also!

Not much for pics but when I was looking for pipes for my 05 Springer, I wanted something different. I found a pair of pipes from Porker called Hatchets. The last 4' are up swept at about a 45 degree angle and the ends of the pipes resemble the cloven hoof of a pig. The very tips come out even and just short of the axle. I've never seen any other pipes like it and that is one of the things that I wanted.
