Default Fly Buy Ride program

http://www.harleyalaska.com/discover...--fly-buy-ride

The Dream
Discover HarleyŽ Alaska Motorcycle Adventures! Enjoy your Alaskan dream vacation on a new Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle! Cruise the open road on your new HarleyŽ through a land where the sheer vastness, glory and majesty will take your breath away. Alaska's wilderness is a land of contrasts, much of which has been untouched by civilization. Alaska, "The Last Frontier," is easily within your reach through HarleyŽ Alaska Motorcycle Adventures.

The Plan
Fly-Buy-Ride
How this works is simple. When you decide you want to see Alaska from the seat of your new Harley-DavidsonŽ, start by talking with our Adventure Planner. He or she will order your dream Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle. Ask about how you can get FREE AIRFARE!

Fly In
Next, set up your travel arrangements to fly to Anchorage, Alaska, the State's largest city. The House of Harley-DavidsonŽ is conveniently located less than two miles from the Ted Stevens International Airport. You complete the purchase experience upon arrival.

Buy It
We will have your pre-ordered Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle ready and waiting for you. All of the appropriate forms will be ready for signature. If you wish, we can finance your new Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle through Harley-DavidsonŽ Financial Services. With as little as 10% down, we can finance your motorcycle*, including accessories, riding gear, extended service plan, buyers protection plan, insurance, and more-all with professional service, fair pricing, and competitive interest rates.
*OAC

Ride On
Your new HarleyŽ will be accessorized per your instructions. Our licensed technicians will log at least 500 miles on the bike and perform its first break-in maintenance and oil change. You will have a full tank of gas and be 100% ready for your HarleyŽ Alaska Motorcycle Adventure.

When you arrive in Anchorage, we will pick you up and bring you to the House of Harley-DavidsonŽ. After finalizing your motorcycle purchase, we will take you on a tour of our dealership and provide you with maps, visitor guides, and answer any questions you may have.

If you want to kick back before you hit the road, we have secure camping facilities available at the dealership, including bathroom and shower facilities. If camping is not your choice, there are several hotels and restaurants within a short walking distance.

Equipped with your new Harley-DavidsonŽ , you are free to roam the "The Last Frontier." Consider a fishing trip on the Kenai Peninsula, the fishing capital of the world. Visit Denali National Park for a close-up view of Mt. McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America.

There are hundreds of excursions available to you during your visit: flight seeing tours; wild animal viewing; guided halibut and salmon fishing; hiking; white-water rafting; camping; museums of history, art, and native culture; glacier viewing and much more. Of course, just the sights and smells from the seat of your new Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle may be all you need!

After completing your tour of Alaska, we suggest taking one of three ways home: ride, float, fly or any combination of the three. First, you could continue your road tour following the Alcan Highway from Alaska through Canada for more breath-taking scenery. The Alcan Highway is typically in very good shape with adequate gas and lodging stops along the way, so you won't need extra gas or tires.

If you wish, a short time after entering Canada, you can follow the road to Haines, Alaska, and board the Alaska Marine Highway ferry for a spectacular ride through the Inside Passage. The Marine Highway system takes the same route as the large cruise ships and can go where the cruise ships cannot. You will also have the opportunity to ride your HarleyŽ around historical towns such as Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan. You choose where you end your boat ride, either at Prince Rupert, BC, Canada, or in Bellingham, WA.

If you find that you do not have time to stay longer or to ride home, we will make arrangements to crate and ship your new Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle to your home or to a Harley-DavidsonŽ dealer near you.

With the purchase of your new Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle, you will automatically become a member of the national HarleyŽ Owners GroupŽ for the first year. Be sure to check their web site frequently for valuable riding information. Having the Harley-DavidsonŽ Roadside Assistance Plan is always a good idea no matter where or how far you travel. Other services and programs are available too, so check with your Adventure Planner at the House of Harley-DavidsonŽ for details.

If for any reason, you decide not to keep your new Harley-DavidsonŽ motorcycle, we will buy it back from you at a fair price, less the cost of required maintenance. The difference may be less than what you might pay for a rental.

Kick start your HarleyŽ Alaska Motorcycle Adventure today by contacting the House of Harley-DavidsonŽ. The adventure of a lifetime in the Land of the Midnight Sun!

I was reading about this the other night and wondered how many people bought into this and how much they lost when they went to sell the bike back?

Seems like an honest offer to me. Any way you slice it, that's going to be an expensive vacation. My sense of it is that they are not targeting serious motircycle enthusiasts. More likely occasional riders with plenty of cash and the desire for adventure.
