Looking at getting a set of 9 Spoke chrome rims for my 2007 Softail Deluxe. With a lot of options out there and price ranges, rims for the Softail being around $950 and Touring about $550. What's the difference between the two? I looked up specs on both they both have rims sizes of 16 in. x 3.0 in. (406.4 mm x 76.2 mm), is it the Axel size that is different? If I bought a set of touring rims would they work on my softail?

Hub offsets and hub widths are different between the touring models and the Softails. If you can get part numbers off the Touring wheels, you could go to Harleys site and see if they'll fit.
