i have more than 2, never less than 2. got to have 1 to ride while working/ updating the other.

if having 1 was all you could have, i would probably have something super reliable....

We have kept 2 bikes and 5 at times. It has been good when one of boys are home for a visit and we get a ride or 2 in.

We got to a point of an empty nest. All 4 kids gone and doing their own. thing. I remember the morning I was having coffee on the porch. Go to looking at all the toys I had amassed. Bikes, jet skis, jet boat kinda added their value up in my head. Not to mention the work and up keep they all required. I sold everything but my EVO. and bought a project bike.

2 is enough for me.
Just for fun
My wife gets asked on occasion "Why does your husband have 2 bikes'
Her reply "He says I have 2 refrigerators so he has 2 bikes"

This either gets a good laugh or ends what could become a stupid conversation.

I have two bikes and would never want just one ever again. Sometimes when one of them is in my Indies for some mods or maintenance he say's "I hope your not in a hurry because I'm swamped", my reply is "take your time, I've got another one".

I have a bar hopper and a touring bike so for me I've got all the bases covered.
