No wax or sealant is even close to a coating for protection.
Its all about polishing the paint to perfection, or as close as you can, to achieve the ultimate shine. I detail cars, paint correction mostly, as a side gig and I get asked "What wax" all the time. Living in Florida, I will only put wax on a garage queen show car. I have a $200 jar of Fuzion that I have used 5 times. It just doesn't make any sense to use a wax in a climate like florida.

Sealants are miles ahead of wax for longevity and protection. Paint coatings take it to another level past sealants. Coatings are a game changer in the detailing world.

I would never ever use furniture and house hold cleaners for my bike or truck. They were not made for car/bike paint. But use what you want.

Zymol. Expensive, but a fantastic product.

The good news is there's not a lot to wax on a Denim Fatboy Lo.

I use the paste version of the Turtle Wax Ice as well. Leaves a nice shine, seems to last and the best part is the no residue which is a big deal on my Night Train.

Doesn't matter what you use to get it shiny, it's all in how you prep the paint first.
