I did this
with my vrod and I won't say that I regret it, but I do miss the hell out of the rod. I wish my finances would allow 2 bikes, but the wife wanted to start riding with me again and the vrod back seat is less than accommodating.In the meantime Mary, try visiting www.1130cc.com (but don't forget about us). It's a little slow around there because of the number of vrod owners isn't high, but you're more likely to get more directed answers specifically about the vrod.

This is what happens when people bump threads from 4 years ago. Then, the woman with the key issue somehow posted her question into that old, bumped thread. The mods moved it here with the extra BS posts after hers, that have nothing to do with the stuck key issue.
They could have cleaned it up, but they didn't.

My 12 sticks occasionally from the sticky switch itself and not the key the key can't be removed while the switch is in the on position. It is not the cause.
Spray the switch grooves and wiggle wiggle wiggle then jiggle. Sooner or later it will move.
