Almost Summer for AZ
Currently is in the 'teens, and we are expecting 1 foot of snow starting Tuesday evening.
2 Wednesday's back the winds blew through and snapped over 150 power poles.
Last Wednesday the winds returned and blew down a phenomenal number of tree's county wide, many large ones and that event left over 134k homes without power, some still so.
My just tuned kerosene heater is in it's 3rd house since the storm began.
it's kept it's share of homes from burst pipes in the single digit weather.
I've been back on the grid since Friday so it's been traveling as houses have come back on-line.
We've been busy splicing generators into boxes and sharing resources.
The power people have been working non-stop, and our dickwad governor who is obviously gearing up for the next presidential run has been critical of them.
Maybe he should look to his own house and see that the state that he and his father have both run has been driven down so far we may never recover.
When he runs don't go for it, he is in the mold of Barry.
All said, summer will be sweet this year.
Got a new Avon Cobra on the back. Seems to handle and brake very well. some noise laid over for turns. I'd been running Shinko 777HDs, had excellent handling with those, but the rear only last maybe 5000 miles. (And that's an old man putting around on a Road King, no burnouts or wheelies or whatever) We'll see how the Cobras last.

I did that route Saturday and came back through Roosevelt Lake. I got caught up in the traffic for the Renaissance Festival, took me 1-1/2 hours to get from Mesa to the festival turnoff.
