maybe just lugging the engine, I have a five speed and dont hit 5th until 65, and thats not even reving it. However, even lugging, it should exelerate. The dualls, if they have no crossover will have less power at lower rpm even though there is more further up, maybe thats it. Do you have before and after charts? if so, the difference should show uparound 2000 rpm. Also any tuning to match the pipes?

I'm positive I was in 6th. As far as being able to go a hell of a lot faster in 6th, well, that's why I asked the question[8D].
IMHO, 60-65mph is too slow to be cruising in 6th. I don't even shift to 6th unless I'm running at least 70-75mph. Sounds like you're lugging the engine but definitely not "maxxed out". Should be able to break 100mph in 4th.
