Default VIP plan non cancellable?

I read someone that you can cancel it. I just called the dealership and they said it was cancellable. Is this true or is the dealership incredibly reluctant to let it happen?

It's only available at Chucks Deluxe.
It's probably some high pressure, high profit service department add-on from the finance manager.
"Hey it only adds $34 a month to your payment".

I've never heard of a VIP plan but the shop I go to, does have a service plan where your parts and labor are paid for, for a certain amount of years, regardless of the miles. I don't remember what it's called but it sounds good.

Texas HD has it, you get a loaner bike when yours comes in. have to have a appointment though. One guy at work told me that he was told they will pull your bike off the rack and put a VIP in its place. I asked and was told not true. But I do believe he was told that.

I have VIP, it's a 36 month service plan, it was $1800ish and covers all maintenance for the period. I was told the break even point was 20k miles in in the 3 years. As I am likely hit 15k by the end of my 12 months. I should get my money's worth. Also I get discounts on just about everything they sell including labor. No idea if it can be refunded. As for the only x per month, please buy your toys in cash, it makes so much more sense.

where's that damn face palm thingie at?

maybe it makes more sense to you, but it didn't to me. and just to add fuel to the fire, on my side of the argument, if I had paid x number of dollars into a savings account for y number of years so that I could pay cash for my bike, well, I wouldn't have this bike. and they don't have a cvo roadglide custom this year, so I wouldn't have a comparable bike. at the end of the day, I bought the bike I wanted, when I wanted it and it cost me an extra $350 per year to do it.
