what about like Arlen Ness apparel.Or I got this jacket from www.power-trip.com and I guess they called them "draggin jeans" they got some type of protection there.

I always liked the more classic look... like these in either the Classic I or II.. either way their work is always top notch!

I prefer sportbike quality (good sportbike quality, not crap like icon) so I stayed with my Vanson jacket. It's black, it's FREAKIN' thick and padded in the right areas. My last 2 jackets were custom made by Bates leather jackets and were a grand a piece.
My vanson was almost half the price (600 bucks) but will NEVER wear out.

go to a big bike shop and look at the different brands. you will also be able to look at the quality better. most japanese bike dealers have a fairly good selection and carry most major brands. alpinestars, dainese, joe rocket, icon, field sheer, and so on. i like the looks and quality of "sportbike" type jackets, and most of the power ranger jackets also come in black. and they are a heck of a lot better than h-d jackets. flame if ya want, but check your h-d leather jacket's label first. made in china.
