Just curious what everyone is using helmet wise. I have had a headtrip half helm for 6 years now, considering going to a full or a modular.

What are some recommendations?

I use a Shoei RF-1200 full face helmet....very comfortable & it comes in the XXL size I need!

Lots of threads about helmets. Take a look around.
Whatever helmet you get, make sure it fits your head shape.
My primary helmet is an Arai Profile (not made any more - now Signet-Q).

I'm impressed. First 2 posts recommend 2 very good helmets.
Just like everything else in life, you get what you pay for.

Full face if you don't wear glasses, Modular if you do.

I use this one and it comes standard with a Transition shield. Don't have to change shields between day and night.

The graphics represent one of my favorite aircraft, the A-10 Warthog.

for fullface i like the ICON Alliance Rubitone. Comes with a dark shield and a clear shield, looks badass and is one of the most comfortable full face ive ever worn. Wife and i both have one. Cost is around $150

Full face bright red Snail and DOT approved.
If you have invisible (black, matte black or any dark color) bike, at least do yourself (and your family) a favor and buy bright helmet and jacket.

I hate FF helmets because I fill closed in. I wear a 3/4 with a face shield.
