So, I get the EZ clutch and we put it on. What a difference it makes in my riding the bike. They should make it an option on the bike. But they don't tell you its going to be a bloody PITA to fit correctly, and that you'll be grinding things down with files, and turning the air into a verbal slaying ........ this is where I leave until the air clears.......
Needless to say all the swearing and cussing that it took was worth it! I LOVE IT! Then my derby cover was FINALLY put on ....... and some corrective measures were taken on the mounts for my saddlebags. He's done working on my bike for this week. He had new mufflers put on his Heritage, Screamin' Eagles!! Which is what people will have to do to get my attention AFTER riding b*tch on that thing..........they are too loud! hmmm [sm=massbounce.gif] I SAID THEY ARE TOO LOUD!!! Oh, sorry I tend to feel like I'm not being heard cuz I can't hear. [sm=sigh.gif] they won't last long.......
I'll get used to it! Know someone's whose are much louder though.............
I probably would have just grit my teeth and started using the stretcher on my left hand to build the strength in it, I should anyway, but this way its much easier and now I can ENJOY my ride ...... winter is coming though............ ah so what, I'll still ride![sm=gears.gif]
I have heard some people that when their pipes are too loud, but they still want that sound, they just wear earplugs. They also will help with the wind blowing into your ears as you go down the road. I tried them a couple of times for the wind thing and they sure made a diff.
I don't mind if someone blows in my ear ...er.... I never thought of earplugs for the wind, but if I do that I'll never hear what whathisname is saying!!! The darn things let out right below me ars!
Besides it would be just my luck that I'd forget they were in there.
Could be..... but maybe I should clarify ....... the pipes are down low, but the ends are right below me........ trust me I can hear them just fine.........
When the SE2's were put on my Springer, they are staggered and the front one is close to my ****, so I know what you mean. Mine are the slashdown models, what design do you have? Thanks
