From the consumer's perspective, the merging of the two subsidiary companies will probably not change much. More than likely, MAG Retail Group merged the companies in an effort to downsize. There's only one reason to do it... $$$. That will translate into employee layoffs.
It will be interesting what the name of the merged company will be. Both Motorcycle Superstore and J&P Cycles have significant name recognition.
I've purchased from both, and both seem to have decent service and a wide selection of items That said, I prefer RevZilla. If they have what I need, I'm buying from them.
I have heard recent complaints about j&p maybe that's part of the reason I usually use Dennis Kirk anyway
I am a long time Dennis Kirk customer. I made a few closeout purchases from J&P. As far as Revzilla, I have shopped them many times, over the years, and have always found the identical item they have for less, elsewhere. I do use Revzilla for the reviews on occasion.
