I remember a few weeks ago someone here mentioning this issue on their bike. Apparently he noticed the oil (leak) as he was loading the bike onto his trailer. At that time we blamed the dealer for the shoddy assembly work.
Funny how MoCo hardly ever has official recalls. I count myself lucky that if there are enough similar complaints my dealer will do the repair and bill the company (remember evo base gaskets).
HD only knew about this 10 months. They really need to quit using the Chinese made garbage.
It has nothing at all to do with Chinese garbage. It has everything to do with a clamp that was improperly crimped during assembly. It doesn't matter where a part is made if it isn't installed right.

Where'd you get that? My Limited was recalled three times in the first couple years I owned it. And those who bought earlier builds than I did had a couple more recalls than that. And during the same rough time frame, they issued recalls on several other models.
