dilemma
Hey guys new to this feed and don't know much about harleys so i'm wanting help to decide which harley to get..all around 11k price
Option 1
Harley sportster 1200 2009...9000kms. White wall tyres
Forward controls and mini apes, 2 into 1 Vance & Hines exhaust, Power Commander 3 and Mach 2 performance air cleaner, new battery.
Option 2
1200 XL 2008 nighster 10000kms....Short shot Vance & Hines exhaust, Öhlins rear suspension , K&N Pod style air filter, Vertical rego plate mount that folds away, integrated indicators into stop lights.Drag bars.and Bar end mirrors.
Option 3
48 2010 20000kms......Vance an hynes short shot pipes, after market cams
Screaming eagle chipped ecu, 16inch fat bars, Ohlins ajustable shocks,Bigger tank with custom decals aftermarket airfilter, Whitewall tyres ,Custom small side mount number plate ,Smoked out indicators

I started on a sporty nothing wrong with entry level....when I got my dyna I appreciated the sporty for what it did for me......got me used to Harley's ...the bigger the bike the worse the learning experience imo.

11k just seems like more money than is needed to get a 7 to 9 year old sporty. I don't mind sportys at all, fun bikes for sure.
No idea where the OP is from though there are many wellingtons in the world.

thanks mate ...which sporty are you refering to? as they are all sportsters

In general, But I just looked up NZ pricing and I see that 11k seems reasonable there.
