Tire pressure?

Just a FYI I have them set correct and keep a close eye on them, always check before they are hot from riding on them... the guy said he was told this by a local Indy shop owner that I happen to grow up with. I'm going to stop by and ask him what the heck this guy is talking about? I'm thinking the guy misunderstood what the man told him! I kept thinking what the heck is he saying? So I asked here to see what you all had to say. Great to have this for input thanks

The tires ( especially the rear ) are prone to irregular ( choppy ) wear patterns when proper inflation is not maintained ... With a little TLC they will easily achieve 20,000 miles before needing replacement

I agree with everyone above but I will ask if you have the stock tires and or wheels that came with the bike? That can change the numbers somewhat but nothing extreme.

Or more air in the rear tire, and a long ride and you'll feel like you've been kicked in the nuts and ***..

I've never had 3 rear tires last 20,000 mi's
