For short rides within town, to the store and such, I like to wear a 3/4 open face helmet. I like the looks of the BELL Custom 500. I bought one (matte black) a couple years ago, and it just doesn't fit my head very well.
So, I'm looking for another brand DOT helmet that has the same basic styling. I'd like input from other riders before I just try another brand randomly. Thank you!

I loved my Bell 500 but it is round and my head is more oval. I switched to Bitwell, same style more oval. Fits me great. Buy from Revzilla, then u can send it back if it doesn't fit.
Ok, so, we need to know your head shape. My suggestion is to figure out your head shape(where you get hot spots will help you) and go on the revzilla page. They allow you to search by head shape. See what models are made for your head, then go to a shop and try those on. I ended up with an arai for a long oval.
