Default Adjustable levers? Ricks?

I'm trying to find a set of adjustable levers. The reach is farther than I like, and on my previous bikes I found I could ride noticeably harder after putting on adjustable levers (easier to control how hard you stop with the brakes and go with the clutch). It's a bit like throwing on a short-shift in an old muscle car to me.

Top of my list are a set of Rick's Good guy levers... but they are a mind blowing $380.

Which leaves me with Ricks and they don't seem common enough to really get a review on. I don't mind paying for a good set though, when they wobble up and down it really makes the bike feel cheap.

Anyone know of ones I'm missing or tried out Ricks?

GF uses the RSD's. Work well and they fit "ok."

I have an Oberon adjustable clutch lever. It's a beautifully made piece and works great. Can't say how they would fit your hands but I have a pic where I clamped the stock on top of the Oberon. It shows how much adjustment there was on my 07 Dyna.
The way it pivots using a cam makes the pull a bit lighter, too.
This is where I got mine: http://www.hogleverage.com/

    Thanks, appreciate it.

Any idea how much room is lost to the **** on those? I have about a quarter inch I can spare off the stock ones.

No problem, but I'm not sure what you mean by losing room due to the ****. Exactly where is your issue?

I put Oberon's on my wife's sporty because she has small hands. Very good quality, and it solved the reach problem she had.

I put the Oberon's clutch on my bike. It's really tight now.... ok for 3 fingers. Pinky hangs over the end. Nice looking though

Ah, that's one thing I am afraid with the Oberon's, I have wide hands.

Nevil, best way I can explain it without drawing something up is; when you go to grip the lever with your hands where they would normally be (normal range for the button controls too), does your index finger hit on the flat section of the lever or has that **** moved the angled section out too far and now it hits in a different location than the other fingers.

Here's couple pics I just took of the GF's RSD levers. Hope this helps in your search.

I never noticed any difference in the grip when I use the clutch, but now when I look at it, my hand fits the same way as with the stock lever. You hands may fit differently, of course. Hope this helps.
