Default Financing

Hey all, new member, first post and all

Was wondering if Harley has its own financing company or not? Or do they go through a bank to get financing?

What i mean is something akin to honda, or yamaha(or even bmw)..they have their own financing company so they dont have to deal with a bank to get you approved and financed, and are also therefore then much more likely to approve you.....

I asked several harley sales people in the dealership and could not get a straight answer....sometimes even got a conflicting answer....

I currently ride a honda sport bike but after the demo day on the Lowrider S i think i might get a harley...

I ask because several years ago when i went into to get my first bike...I wanted a Kawi but the bank denied me(even though i had a great score, and no debt) but honda approved me(and probably yamaha would have too)

Thanks

If you went to a dealer and asked, there's no way they didn't tell you about HDFS.

Anyone can get financed through Harley. The worse your credit, the higher the interest, but they'll finance anyone...or so it seems. Its Harley Credit Corporation.

Needless to say, HD does have their own financing and the sales staffers your spoke with are idiots, if they didn't offer this option. Did you talk deal, did you seem interested, did you fill out any paperwork? If not...go back and speak to someone who knows their ****.

If you can afford the payment on a toy every month what's the issue with financing?

I highly doubt the majority of new HD purchases are paid in cash.

I've financed and/or charged everything over $500. It's not a deal breaker but that's probably what 99% of the population does.
