2001 Road Glide Stereo
My son has a 2001 Road glide and it has what I think is 1.5 aux. port in the lower right side of his stereo. I tried to plug in a MP3 player into it so he would have a larger selection of tunes but it didn't work. Is this port for that purpose or I'm I barking up the wrong tree. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be you had the wrong size connector or maybe the stereo from that year doesn't do MP3s. Try recording some music full length and then try to play them back. You might also check the owner manual to see if it will tell you if that stereo is MP3 capable.
