With all the bitching about customer service, thought I would share a "Good" experience.
Yesterday I got a Khrome Werks hitch for my softail from a friend. No installation instructions and a bag full of various nuts and bolts.
Searched online and found the instructions. After reviewing the instructions and parts list, there were a couple of things that I could not source locally.
Sent Khrome Werks an email last night about 9:00pm asking about a source for the needed parts.
I got a phone call this morning about 9:00am from Khrome Werks. Can't remember the gentleman's name but, he was very helpful and offered to send me that parts. Cost, $11.00 plus $5.00 shipping.
I was very surprised to get a response so quick. Will have the needed parts by middle of next week.
THAT is the way customer service is supposed to work.
Ditto on Khrome Werks service.
I bought a set of staggered duals for my Deuce when they were half price on close out.
A year later I decided that the pipes were a bit too loud and called them up.
They sent out a kit that lowered the DB a notch.
Not bad considering they didn't even make the pipes anymore.
