Let's Stick our heads in the sand and only read about Happy Things. And let's pretend crashes never happen and we can call this forumn........Never Never Land
I have to agree here. If I see a thread that I don't want to read I don't open said thread. The topic in question is one I usually do read.
i can see the value from learning what caused a accident, and what to look out for, but personaly reading and hearing about accidents kind of freaks me out a bit.
There are alot of us on this forum that also have an interest in guns. Perhaps it would be interesting to start searching for all the interesting gun incidents and report those here too!
I agree however, I don't have to open those threads and I'll try and make it a point not to. I guess it's just I don't understand it.

ditto . . . I bet if we pretend our bikes never get dirty we won't have to clean them either!
I for one disagree! I do think to read about these accidents is to become educated about what mistakes not to make and to be vigilant when we ride. Its a good reminder, in my humble opinion.
I agree 100%. There is usually something I can learn from these posts. People's thoughts about the wreck and opinions about the post are typically pretty good.

My computer has a button onit that lets me click on what I want to read and what I don't, but it's not working today, because this thread came up all by it's self.
ORIGINAL: Gunkholes What he said. I can read enough of that stuff in the local paper -- I read posts here for fun. I just skip the blood & gore posts.
wait did you say that you skip those kind of posts? you have your problem solved then. now if everyone would just follow your xample then there would be less whining.

It's notthe accident description. It's the photos I can do without. The last one with that rider hanging out of the back of the semi by his head is an example.Granted the guy may have been riding like anahole, but I hate to think a relative - mother/fathersaw the photos here.Possibly post the link tophotos so the article can be readwithout seeing the photos unless you feel the need.

A) That photo was all over the internet. The family of the victim does not have to log onto HD forums to see it.
B) That post came with a warning that stated it was "extremely graphic". You should not have clicked on it if you are of a weak constitution.
