why can't we have a separate section for everyone topost their depressing crash stories?? i'm just a little superstitious.most of us know what we "need " to do to survive. most of us do these things. hardly any of the stories bring valueto the group. i hope i don't step on any toes here, just my .02 i know these folks have good intentions, but i think the daily news will be enough.
Maybe then we should have a separate section for bikes that break down...a separate section for funny rider stories...a separate section for engine upgrades.... a separate section for riding techniques...as separate section for things that **** us off...a separate section for things that make us happy...a separate section for smart topics...a separate section for stupid topics...as separate section for waiving (Now that's not a bad idea)....a separate section for poser topics...a separate section for rub topics...as separate section for high speed stories...a separate section for low speed stories...a separate section for twistie rides...a separate section for straight riding...a separate section for wet riding...a separate section for dry riding...etc etc etc..
I can understand where Lazyboy is coming from. For any member on the forum to tell of an incident/accident to themselves is perfectly understandable. Even to report an accident that happened to a friend of theirs is within reason to me. What I don't understand is people on this forum searchingthru other venues to find any tragic/unusual/gory incident that has nothing to do with any one on this forum and then posting it here.
Let's Stick our heads in the sand and only read about Happy Things. And let's pretend crashes never happen and we can call this forumn........Never Never Land

My opinion exactly. I have posted on many a car forum and no one posts about car fatalities that they did not know the person involved or saw themselves. If an accident doesn't involve you, someone you know, or you saw it don't post it.

I for one disagree! I do think to read about these accidents is to become educated about what mistakes not to make and to be vigilant when we ride. Its a good reminder, in my humble opinion.
