Is your head only worth $25.00 That's the real question
I dont get the numerous exact posts like this. WTF if you pay more for a helmet does it increase the value of your head?? Who gives a fat rats *** how much a helmet costs. If the buyer likes it thats great.

Heh. What brand of oil should I use and where should I put my gas cap if my head is worth $25?
I have a Gmax 3/4 helmet and doesn't do anything like what you described....it's a size large. Bought an identical helmet in size medium and seemed too tight. Went back to my size large.
The comment about a 25 dollar head, is just a short way of saying that you get what you pay for. For example, If you are in a bad wreck would you rather your head be protected, by a helmet that is only made to sell for a few bucks, or would you want your head protected by a helmet that was made out of quality components that are made to do the job to the best of the manufacture's ability. Thin shell VS thick shell, good padding VS best padding so forth and so on.
I picked up my first 3/4 helmet in over 30 years, a Torc on sale for $25, mainly to use as a holder for the Sena blue tooth on trips with the wife. It fits pretty snug as helmets apparently do these days, but on the highway it makes my jaw shake. I have to keep my teeth apart or they just grind. It's not wind buffeting as the helmet doesn't move, just my jaw.
Is that normal?
If you install fork lowers (fangs) on your Heritage, the shake issue is gone. The tight will get better after wearing for awhile
If the helmet is DOT approved who cares what it costs. If it is a novelty helmet that is a different story. A deal is a deal.
Now go get the bubble shield from 30 years ago and all will be good
@NORTY FLATZ
It doesn't feel loose at a stop or moving although the bottom around my jaw feels tight. It doesn't wiggle at all and if I push gently down on the crown I can feel it on the top of my head. The cheek pads do come out but they snap in so they don't seem movable.
@Cosmic Razorback
$25 closeout at the dealership.
@checkers
Have the fangs already, that's why there is no buffeting.
The helmet fits well over my head, I'm guessing that the jaw area is a little too tight. It was intended as a test platform for the Sena 20S communications system, it will still work for that and when I shop for a new one, I'll know to look for a looser fit around the bottom.
