Dynos...what do they cost?
ill be your first customer. the guy I bought my bike from said it was bored and stroked, I wanna know with out taking the heads off. some of the guys in the sportster section were saying thier bikes lug at 55 and 60 mph in 5th gear . Mine dont lug at 40. I found the dealer where the bike was bought and I know what upgrades THEY did,and they didnt bore it or put a cam in it.
Just been wondering for a while.
Local HD shop dont have a dyno? Ijust figured they did...
Talking the whole dyno...not a tune.
I am frustrated by the lack of dynos in the area I live and am thinking out loud about this being a possible opportunity.
Anyone know what a Dynojet sells for?

Plus, in some areas a dyno would be a noise problem unless you live in an industrial area or out in the country.
I run a dyno for a living by the way.
you also have to consider the training involved!!! it aint cheap and it aint short. and there are clases for different systems, tuning modules, etc (he also does lots of racing sportbikes). he has many hours invested in classes and he's been doing this for a while. he doing a racing buell...you should see the sert for that thing, twice as many cells.
after talking to him for a while now, you really start to get an idea of how little most of the guys around know about these things. i think most of the hd shop guys got through the basic training on a sert and think they are experts. i think when you hear of "....man this guy is really good...", i think that just means that he has solid training.
i've seen some of the bikes he's worked on and trust me, you aint just rollin' in off the street, buyin' a machine, strappin' a bike down and pinning the throttle. i'm pretty tech savy and it's a humbling proposition.
DynoJet also has a lease purchase plan. I want to buy one to drive down Dyno Tunning prices in my area.
I just contacted DynoJet about there 250i with A/F module
