Hey all
I want to add a luggage rack to my ride so I can have extra storage for when the wife and I cruise to Key West next summer.
I start researching online and before you know it you are 30 pages deep in options, it's crazy. Sort of like viewing **** online.......... Motorcycle ****
Any suggestions on racks you prefer and type of storage bags?
Also want to do a whole detachable system for saddlebags and rack as well.
So many options..... So much $$$
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions

I have these three bags. I use them individually or in combination with each other, depending on what I a doing. I really like the rolling bag because when I get to the hotel, I just take it off, extend the handle, and roll it on in with ease. There are cheaper options but I like what I bought.

I have this one on my 09 Road King and I love it. It has a nice big pad for the little lady, it's detachable, the luggage rack is nice and big, its got a pretty decent weight limit and it locks so some douchebag cant walk off with it. The only drawback I have with mine is it rattles a little if I'm on a rough road or hit a patch of bumps. But that's only when the wife isn't on the bike, if she's on the back it doesn't rattle at all. The chrome is very nice too.
I picked up one of the luggage racks off of Ebay. One of those ones for $60 probably made in China, mainly because I use the luggage rack once a year and didn't think I needed to spend harley money for that. It's surprisingly well made, chrome is good on it and it's holding up well after a few thousand miles. For a detachable system for the saddle bags look at the cycle visions barebacks. Thats what I'm using. Pretty expensive for 8 bolts and some springs but it works well.
