I like the looks a lot. The fuel gauge on my Wide Glide is basically useless, I just reset the "A" trip odometer every time I fuel up, and will usually refuel around 120 to 130 miles.
The first mod I did on my current Wide Glide was a rear cylinder heat shield, as I also had on my stolen 2011 WG. For some reason the way I fit on those Wide Glides causes my right thigh to get extremely hot without that little heat shield. I got a blister from my 2011 on my first long ride. Immediately bought the heat shield. Think the second mod I did was mini floorboards, then full stage one.
Actually, I just remembered, the first thing I did on my 2012 WG was the security system and alarm with remote pager. Though I had the dealer do that as part of the sale before I even took it home

I like the way the flush gas cap looks but I'd always worry they'd stick and I would be able to open them up.
I had a situation on my last bike, where the low profile cap wouldn't come off. I even borrowed a pair of pliers and that didn't work. Finally, it came off and I got a different gas cap...one that was thicker and something to grab.
