I just have to say how much I like riding with the foam padded glasses.
Not only do they keep most wind and bugs out of my eyes but I was out for a ride a few days ago when I came upon a freshly milled section of the road. Unfortunately, a large truck was coming from the opposite direction and kicked up a major dust storm right in front of me that I had to ride through. The dust was dense but the glasses kept 99% of the debris out of my eyes with no visual impairment. Just few blinks of the lids and all was good.
Regular or no glasses at all probably would have left me with eyefuls of dirt. Either that or close my eyes and hope for the best.
I bought mine at a dealership somewhere last year.
They're "transition: lenses and don't get really dark but my half shell helmet has a dark "drop down" shield when I need it.
I bought mine after getting something in my eye (tar I believe) the year before and I'm extremely satisfied with them.
I like them. I started with PanOptics and loved them. First pair wore out and second pair got broken in a wreck. I looked for some replacements and somebody had bought them out and I didn't like the new ones. Now I just get the cheap ones at the bike events and they work fine.
It's all I wear with a skid lid, otherwise, eyes water from wind buffeting and the occasional bee, insect, bug, is not pleasant. Had Wileys, 7 eye, etc. But honestly, last ones I purchased were cheapies of Amazon...3 pairs under 20 bucks. I lose em...who cares.
